It all started with our love for camping and wanting to spend more time outdoors. All of the packing up and remembering every little detail to bring was mind boggling and stressful. Just to get away for a day took hours of thinking, lists, packing, and loading. And then there was the cooking when we got there! We love to cook and make our meals from scratch. But cooking over a fire with no prep space and no utensil organization was a disaster. Picture a skillet of bacon on the verge of burning. One of us is yelling for the tongs and the other scrambling through a tote of cooking accessories to find the tongs, only to realize we had forgotten them. And this is supposed to be relaxing and fun? We decided that if we were going to keep camping and enjoy our time outdoors, something would have to change!

We then decided to build our own teardrop. It took months of designing, planning, and, lastly, constructing. Then finally the day arrived to try it out! It was a camping dream come true. The teardrop was everything we needed: a comfortable night’s sleep, beautiful storage cabinets, a spacious galley for organizing our cooking things, a countertop for meal prepping, all on a small, lightweight trailer that could go almost anywhere. Our teardrop has changed our lives: no more hassle of packing up bedding and kitchen. We can just hit the road and go on an adventure! And we know it will be relaxing and fun.
