This article is about the creation of the customizable, affordable Deneb (sounds like deh-nuhb) trailer from Cedar Ridge Campers. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can cruise on over here to view the walkaround by our founder and CEO, Tristan Mininger.
The Deneb was born out of a changing shift in market conditions and customer interest. The Covid-stimulus driven boom in the RV industry had largely fallen flat by 2023. Although we were blessed to continue to have rigorous interest in our flagship Vega model, we could tell that the no-holds-barred design of the Vega was out of reach for a lot of people, even those who were keenly interested in off road, teardrop-style campers. Although we would say that the Vega is unrivaled in price point for the category of camper it is in – the insane, extreme, rugged, luxury category – the fact is, not everyone wants or needs that level of camper.
Enter Deneb, starting at $14,995. This everything-you-need, nothing-you-don’t camper. The Deneb is a perfect fit for those who want to start with a basic yet capable camper, and add just those features that are needed for their application / camping style. In its most basic form, it still has those features you love from the Vega: queen-size sleeping area with 4” memory foam mattress, Tern overland doors, rugged exterior, and impenetrable fiberglass composite structure. Yet it has a plethora of add-on features, like switching the suspension to XT (extreme terrain), changing the regular ball hitch to a Cruisemaster, adding a myriad of awning options, and more!
The back galley is also customizable and “modular” in the under-counter area. Is cooking a big part of your camping? Opt for the sink/stove combo and fridge slide. Would you rather cook over a bona fide firewood fire but like to bring along lots of extra clothes, gadgets, and tools? Then go with three banks of storage drawers. Do you not need either but would like extra space inside? Then go for no divider wall and no galley at all, and gain several feet of interior space. Options, options, options!
The Deneb trailer from Cedar Ridge Campers is a game-changer in the world of affordable, customizable camping solutions.
